1) Nothing really different in the fuel economy department. 2) Brakes and clutch are seirously expensive and do get eaten fast. 3) Try to buy a 2000+ car with redsigned piston rings and vanos. 4) E39 kills the E34 for straight line performance. 5) E34 feels much better to drive and is better on the twisty bits.

Hit the button to turn recirc off, no noise, but aprox 5secs later, the fan speed/airflow dies down. Hit the button twice to turn recirc on, no noise, fan speed/airflow slowly increases. Almost like the inside vent intakes are closing, but the external ones aren't opening, causing the airflow to slow down. John Baas.
